Ted Giffin is a multi-instrumentalist and visual artist from Bloomington, Indiana. He graduated from Herron School of Art, IUPUI, in 1993.

He left Indiana briefly on a large fellowship as a Painter to the Savannah College of Art and Design. Stricken with mental illness at a young age, he had to resign from his dreams and returned to Indiana. Ted adds "Although my degree is in Visual Arts, I have been passionate about music and songwriting ever since I was a little boy".

Ted began songwriting and playing in bands at age 15. He adds "My art career was sidelined when diagnosed with a disabling mental illness. Currently, I am recording my own music and cover songs, acting as sound engineer". Throughout his creative forays, he has always loved music.

Ted has played in various bands since 1988 such as The Ambient Zebras, (1988-1991), Your Damn Neighbors, (1991-1993), Beanworld, (1994-1996), Splat, (1996-1999), Scent of Sorrow, (2003-2005).

Ted recalls "Throughout my life, I have shown my art to artists who told me that I should pursue music. And when I played music to musicians, they told me to pursue my Painting".
