Ryan McTavish is an aspiring drummer, song writer, public speaker and autism advocate.

In February 2012, Ryan took first prize at a talent show in Saskatchewan for his outstanding drumming. The following summer, Ryan was interviewed on the popular Christian TV show "100 Huntley Street" with his youth pastor.

Ryan has spoken about his personal struggle with dealing with autism at many public events including assemblies at local High Schools around the Kitchener/Waterloo region and the Kidsability Autism Forum held in Kitchener.

Ryan was also involved in the writing of the song "What This Love is For", providing the drum and a backup vocal track for it as well. The song is dedicated to people with Autism.

Currently, Ryan is recording and touring with local musician Richard Garvey. Ryan hopes to find more opportunities to share his stories and to inspire people through his music and public speaking.
