Rob Tierney is from Launceston, Tasmania. He adds "When I was 18 I contracted Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, then 13 years ago I had a relapse." Rob got a virus that went through his body leaving his Left leg weak making walking any distance without a walking aid impossible. He uses everything from a walking stick to a wheelchair to get around. Rob adds "I love singing and music but due to my physical problems finding music groups where i live to cater for people with disabilities i miss singing as it made me feel normal".

Rob says "I have lived in Launceston most of my life except for a small stint in Melbourne when I was younger". Rob is into all sorts of music, 50's upwards. He adds "I like to sing a variety of genres but I suppose the ones I like the most are slower songs like Lenoard Cohen's Hallejuah that sort of music. i dont mind a bit of Robbie Williams".

Due to illness, Rob hasn't performed in a long time. He has been involved in a very small social music group but unfortunately, that folded due to lack of numbers. Rob adds "Its very hard to find people with similar interests in music or even different tastes in music. I would like to get back on the horse so to speak and try again. When I was younger 20 years ago I used to sing around some of the local churches. These days I I would like to get back on the horse so to speak and try again. to expand my music genres".
